Red Satin Joan Collins “Dynasty” Gown Sketch

The gown depicted in this design sketch by Nolan Miller was worn by Joan Collins as Alexis Carrington Colby in the season 4 finale cliffhanger of "Dynasty,” where Alexis is arrested for murder at her daughter’s wedding and is hauled off to jail- couture gown, jewels, and all.

Joan wore this design in episode 26 of season 4 “The Nightmare" and in episode 1 of season 5 “Disappearance.”
